Picking Colors for a New Improv Piece

pile of folded fabrics with bright pinks at the top and neutrals on the bottom

There’s a new improv work brewing, with colors picked from my stash. All solids, plain ones, not fancy thread dyes. It’s pretty hard to stay away from them, but I want to use what I have. I’ve  chosen a muted color scheme, enhanced by a few brights.

I may have to add in a dark later. One thing that helps lots of creatives assess color value is comparing a color and black and white photo of your choices. This pull has a pretty choppy dark and light spread, but I’m going with it.
