At the Great New Zealand Quilt Show in 2023, I taught Improv Piecing. I had great students, lovely faculty, and the worst case of nerves ever. I was humbled that people wanted to learn techniques that I was using. It went really well! I received several offers to teach afterwards, and was even accepted for Symposium 2024. Ultimately, I decided that if it made me so nervous, it was best I didn’t… but I’m grateful for the offers from groups, and am always happy to see students work!
