I’ve been crashing though the internet trying to learn.
I thought I might run some kind of quilting business… and it quickly became apparent that NOBODY runs a business these days without some kind of Social Media. And I have none… no FB, no Pinterest, nothing. Not only that, I’m very dense about how the whole thing works. I’ve never even looked at FB. So for the past fortnight I’ve been dragging myself into the 21st century. Not one stitch has been quilted since I began.
Today, I’ve had FB for 5 minutes and I’ve already been locked out. (Amazing, right?)
I’ve done sufficient research to know that I should register a domain name… but first I had to think of one. I did, and here I am with quiltingoctopus.com as my very own “handle”. I feel like I need eight arms to juggle life.
I’ll probably only post once a month. It could be about quilting, or sewing, or colour, or cephlapods, or computer skills (specifically my lack of them…), or my struggle with Social Media. Or food. I LOVE food. I hope you hang out and enjoy.
